P507 extractant
2-ethylhexyl phosphoric acid mono-2-ethylhexyl ester
CAS 14802-03-0
P507 is a mono-ester extractant with a minimum content of 95.0% and a dicarboxylic acid limit of 2.0%. It is used across non-ferrous metal separation duties: copper, zinc, cobalt-nickel, cadmium, gold-silver, platinum group metals and rare earths. The acidity window is set per metal pair, so the same reagent serves several stages in one flowsheet.
- ≥95.0% active content
- Cobalt-nickel at pH 3.4–4.0
- Rare earth separation cascades
- Gold-silver and PGM stages

Typical use
Cobalt-nickel separation in sulphate circuits at pH 3.4–4.0, copper and zinc purification, cadmium removal, precious metal separation and rare earth cascades.
- 01Cobalt-nickel separation runs in a pH 3.4–4.0 window; the scrub acid sets the cobalt-to-nickel ratio in the strip.
- 02Gold-silver and platinum group metal stages run at low metal concentration with tight phase ratios.
- 03A dicarboxylic acid limit of 2.0% keeps phase separation inside the 90 s design figure.
