QL256-1 extractant
Nickel-cobalt co-extraction extractant
CAS on request
QL256-1 co-extracts nickel and cobalt from clarified sulphate liquors so the pair leaves the circuit in one strip liquor. At 25% v/v dilution the loading capacity exceeds 10 g/L and the residual nickel and cobalt in the raffinate stay below 0.02 g/L, which suits spent ternary battery leachates and laterite liquors where the two metals are wanted together.
- ≥97.0% active content
- ≥10 g/L capacity at 25% v/v
- Raffinate below 0.02 g/L
- Water below 0.1%

Typical use
Co-extraction of nickel and cobalt from spent ternary battery leach liquor, laterite nickel hydrometallurgy, and high-concentration nickel-cobalt residues or wastewater.
- 01Feed ratio stability matters more than total tenor; upstream blending is confirmed before the stage is sized.
- 02Manganese and magnesium behaviour is checked on the sample rather than assumed from the datasheet.
- 03Phase separation of 2 minutes or less is maintained with the diluent and modifier stated in the test report.
